Two Blue

Too blue? Never. Too much texture? Impossible. Not enough sparkle? Maybe.😋

Yes, I love blue. Especially when one blue (cotton and acrylic blend) has a metallic thread running through it, and the other blue (chenille) feels like velvet. I thought these two color schemes and textures went perfectly well together. And because they were two yarns perfectly matched, I kept them connected and made two pieces, perfectly paired. One is all about the ruffle, and the other is all about the fringe.

All blues are dear old friends of mine. Oh, how I have loved them all: Blue Moon, Neptune's Beard, Blue Jean BabySea Shine, Winter Blues. So many variationsIn combination with other colors, blue is also again and still my other favorite among so many favorites: Earth and Mars, Winter Mint, Jelly Bean Cotton Candy, Granny Square Greatness, Hippie Fringe, Velvet Bold... and on, and on. Whoa! Better stop with those other blues for now. And focus on these two new blues!😍

They look so sweet there together, just hangin' out. But it is hard to get a sense of scale there (above), so I paired them with my fave flannel shirt (below), and that makes their shapely drape much more obvious.

Love these luxurious ladies! Different lighting brings out their different blues'y'ness.😎

Details, details.

Look how these two lovely ladies perk up a bland space!
