Almond Butter

I absolutely love how pretty this little scarf turned out! It is just so sweet and simple, I want to make a million more just like this. 😄 I love everything about it: the color is so natural, the shape is sturdy but soft, and the whole look and feel of it is practical, pretty, and just plain fabulous. 🤩Nothing fancy here, just my same fave simple mesh pattern, that I first described here: original post from the mists of time. Not too big, and no fluffy ruffle, just a bit of easy fringe, and a wonderful earth-toned color that sometimes looks toasted golden, and in certain light looks almost creamy. I love it when a simple color isn't so simple. 😍

I've had a long term love affair with earth tones, and I'm obsessed with natural colors, and I will never stop feeling passionate about these delish flavors. 😆

I thought that Almond Butter is the perfect name for this color, although "honey wheat" was a possible second place, and I could have gone with "pale oak," too. Here is a folder of a few more pics, proving I obviously have too much fun posing a simple piece: Almond Butter. Aw, look how cute Smokey Bear looks next to this earthy-oak'y colored sweet piece. And, it sure makes my jean jacket look cool, too. 😎
