Bag-o-rama

I absolutely love this fun'n'friendly bag pattern that my Crochet_Nerd_Girlfriend, Trisha, gave me! 😎 The original pattern has asymmetrical handles (see below for Trisha's perfect version), but I modified mine with the skinny straps you see above. I combined two skeins, one pure white and one a "flower garden" color scheme (thanks,  Yarned & Dangerous ), to make it nice'n'sturdy. And this easy breeze'y pattern is so easy-peas'y because it just goes round'n'round. Here's what that looks like:   No turning after each row, just keep going, and it builds all the way up, to whatever height you want to make it. As in: Folder of Colorful Fun .   Way too cute! So easy and fun to make, I absolutely love this little project. I learned how to make the basic pattern here: Genghis Con . I attended a fantastic Side Quest called "Crochet a Dice Bag," hosted by a super nice guy, and attended by really cool people. I can't remember anybody's names now, but I hope to see them again next year, and show them this blog post. 😍 At the Side Quest, we each got to pick a small ball of yarn. I picked simple gray, and immediately loved how smart, cool, and simple this pattern is. The dice bag used up only about half the yarn ball, so when I got home, I experimented with a variation of the pattern. The experiment ended up producing more of a basket than a bag. And I learned a thing or two there, which was cool, and I actually really like the basket option, but I knew then that I wanted to stick with the bag pattern for now.
