This amazing piece took first place at the Colorado State Fair! The super friendly artist, Christine Fleetwood, explained to me that the pattern (Twisted Toadstool) is available here: The Twisted Hatter. Wow! I may or may not decide to try that some day. Christine told me that the pattern is "not super complicated," and I almost kinda believe her a little bit maybe. 😆 I am in awe of Christine's crochet skills - this incredibly talented artist is here: TheSaltyStitchery on Etsy. This incredible piece is on display in the Financial Aid office at CSUP. Yes! If you're in Pueblo, you can go see this crochet art gallery yourself, and be awestruck like I was.   I absolutely love how pretty this little scarf turned out! Peachy Purse

  I'm completely in love with the newspaper , Crochet Nation . 😍 I made this little peachy purse starting with their pattern instructions for the "Fringe Clutch," issue 2, page 4. With a few of my own experimental modifications. Because, you had me at fringe. 😄 But, then I decided it was not enough fringe. 😎 Thank you, Crochet Nation , for the inspiration, and for being awesome. 😘 As you can see below, and in the Peachy Purse folder, my final product is just a rough draft. It needs some blocking, and next time maybe some closer attention to stitch counts, plus I think a little bit more fringe. 😆 Still, not bad for a quick whip-it-up piece that is just cute as a button and sweet as a peach.  I am obsessed with fringe'y purses. Holiday Yarn Pile

  A labor of love. I tried and tried, and tried again (and again, twice) to make this work. In two locations, three different geometries. A love-hate relationship. I had to give up. Let it go. I cannot make a Christmas tree out of my yarn. But I can keep dreaming. 😂 The good news is, I have a fantastic "yarn pile tree skirt scarf thing" here, and some day I may figure out how to actually use it as a yarn tree skirt. 😋 Christmas Tree Skirt I have a long love affair going with Christmas fun! 😍 And it's only December 1st right now, stay tuned.
